‘Magic Mirror’, di Luisa Menazzi Moretti, Venice arrives, in the gallery The Salizada.
Images of great visual and emotional impact, photographs of Luisa Menazzi Moretti resume fragments of internal, details of objects, urban scenarios, landscapes, educated but from different points of view that modify the state, separating them from ordinary perception we have of, to give them new consistency, a different reality, almost painterly, the artist redefines giving new meaning to the color, to form, All ombre, with a very particular aesthetic taste.
The artist creates refined substantial textures, almost pictorial: a Murano glass becomes pure color density of matter, a wall of bricks facade reminiscent of a Le Corbusier, a military body landscapes
petrified.
Denis Curti, Contrast Vice President and Director of the Foundation Form for photography - that takes care of the catalog and speaking at the presentation of the exhibition - defines the shots of Luisa Menazzi Moretti "…a reflection,a still picture on the overall future of the photographic medium ... In these images is the point of view that generates
flaking with reality, reaching up to the abstraction of form and thought”.
The photograph of Luisa Menazzi Moretti, through the magic mirror Magic Mirror, reflects new meanings of things, such as Venice has always been transfigured in the reflections of its channels – in those days, capital of art
contemporary to the 55th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale visual.
